The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Research Award is currently on hold pending funding.
The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Research Award allows us to bring one or two graduate students, post docs, or early career faculty members each year from accredited institutions in North America and in Europe to share their research on Bangabandhu and/or Bangladesh with the UC Berkeley community. This award has been established with the generous support of the US Bangabandhu Parishad, California.
Deadline for submission is April 1, 2024.

Applications should be emailed to Program Director, Puneeta Kala, at pkala@berkeley.edu and must arrive by 5 pm on April 1, 2024. Late applications cannot be accepted, so to avoid last-minute problems, we encourage early submission.
